Presenter Pass Options

For over 15 years, we've offered a place that presents studies of society that exemplify the disciplinary and interdisciplinary practices of the social sciences. We welcome returning and new members to add their voices to the conversation.

In-Person Presenter Passes:
for those who want to present in the place-based component of the conference. You are also encouraged to participate in and share your content, in the online components, by adding to add digital media to your presenter page on the CGScholar Event Microsite.

Online-Only Presenter Passes for those who know they will not attend the place-based component but still want to present, view all content, and engage in meaningful discussion. Online presentations will be delivered and viewed online as asynchronous digital media. Online Only presenters also have discussion boards to structure conversations.

Co-Creating Community Resources:

We aim to capture and add as much content as possible on our CGScholar Event Microsite. The microsite becomes an archive to which delegates and Research Network members can return anytime.

Audience Pass Options

Audience Passes are for those who want to benefit from the content, connect with presenters, and join the discussion. Audience members will also be recognized in the program for their participation.

In-Person
: participate in innovative in-person formats, plenaries, talking circles, garden conversations, and on a human scale. You will also have access to all online-only content.

Online Only: gain access to live and recorded presentations, welcome addresses, plenaries, and curated thematic content -- from any place and in your own time.

Co-Creating Community Resources:

Audience members can help us collect content from presenters. If you do not see digital media on a Presenter Page, you can request it. You can also add comments to discussion boards for all content.

Conference Tour: Krakow Walking Tour -16 July 2024

Kraków is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula River in the Lesser Poland region, the city dates back to the 7th century. Kraków has traditionally been one of the leading centres of Polish academic, cultural, and artistic life and is one of Poland’s most important economic hubs. Indeed it was the capital of Poland from 1038 to 1569. We will take a leisurely walk around the Old Town to see the most beautiful sites of Krakow's Old Town. In general the tour follows so-called Royal Route which retraces the path followed by Polish kings heading for their Residence on the Wawel Hill. It runs across the most magnificent sites of Krakow's Old Town, like the Main Market Square, St. Mary's Church, university district and the former seat of Polish kings.

Conference Dinner @ Morskie oko - 18 July 2024

“Morskie Oko” restaurant is located in an art nouveau tenement building, under number 8 on the Szczepański Square, with every detail of the décor referring to the unique ambiance of a highlander’s inn. The Restaurant combines love and passion for highlanders' hometown – Zakopane, its culture, and traditions. It is a perfect place for families and friends to gather, and for tourists to feel the characteristic Polish hospitality.

Conference Closing Reception - 19 July 2024

The Nineteenth International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences will be hosting a Closing Reception at the Jagiellonian University. Join other conference delegates and plenary speakers while enjoying drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to converse.
